Grape Plasma

A popular physics trick is microwaving a grape to create plasma. A Paper which came out in 2019 explains this phenomenon in their experiment using hydro-gel water beads. As it turns out, its due to the high dielectric constant of water allowing the microwaves to form a resonance. Pretty fun huh?
